CCD Monthly                                                      January 2020

Foreword:

Greetings! We are China Christian Daily, the first comprehensive English Christian news website about the church in China. Thank you for your sincere love, prayer for and devotion to the Chinese church.

The beginning of the Chinese Lunar Year 2020 has been a special time for China. Rather than enjoying a reunion with family and friends, the Chinese people have been attacked by the novel coronavirus outbreak that originated in Wuhan. Apart from numerous deaths and infections, the pneumonia epidemic, declared a global emergency by the World Health Organization in late January, has also affected the church in China. Online worship, Bible studies, and prayer meetings have replaced traditional services and gatherings. We have selected articles to give a glimpse of what the church is dealing with in the current situation.

You can also read trending news as well as features about the CUV Bible and American missionaries in Shandong. At the bottom, we would like to invite you to write your prayers and words for Chinese people during this difficult time.
